At/by the end of the unit, what do you want the student to be able to do with the language?
Final assessment (Scenario):
You are a visiting student in one of the cities in Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, or Serbia. You are talking with your local professor and you want to say more about the city you are currently staying in: how it looks, what your weekly schedule is and what you do in your free time. Be sure to also include where you like to go during your free time. In general, you might be asked to say something about where people go in the city, what they do, what cultural activities you like to do, and where you go. Also consider the following questions. What local band do you like, what is your favorite singer, what is your favorite song that you discovered in the area? Finally, compare the city you are visiting with the city you are from.

Discuss with your friend what you like to do in your free time. What are your interests and hobbies? Discuss your likes and dislikes in terms of the Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin, and/or Serbian music and film industry .
Module 3:
Prepare a presentation about your city. Include cultural landmarks, where people go and what they do. Include activities you like to do and provide personal commentary by saying why you like to do certain things. You will ask your friend questions about the parts you found interesting in their presentation .

Prepare a presentation about your city. You will present your city to your classmates by including what we can see, where we need to go, what we need to do, and provide your opinion on each location/attraction. In your presentation you should focus also on cultural landmarks, cultural events, and concerts. You need to present to us your city in a way so we know where to go and what to have in mind when visiting.
